New Report! Video Trends in the Staffing Industry

October 24, 2011 15 comments

If you are using or considering video as a staffing or recruiting company, Vipe is offering a free benchmarking report to help you set & manage expectations. We analyzed a sampling of 25K videos  to see how usage trends have changed over the past 3 years – and some results were surprising!

For example, did you know that if you remotely invited a candidate to record videos on their own, you could expect a 2.5 day turnaround in 2009, but in 2011 the average response time is less than 6.5 hours?!

The following topics were reviewed:vipe video cheat sheet - video trends in the staffingindustry

  • Video type (marketing videos vs. candidate videos)
  • Video source (uploaded files vs. webcam recordings)
  • Candidate video lengths
  • Number of video interview questions asked
  • Remote invite response time rate of candidate videos
  • Remote invite completion percentage for candidate videos

I’m excited to head to CSP Orange County to give my Web 2.0 & Staffing talk!

November 19, 2008 Leave a comment

I just want to write a quick note to say I’m really excited to head down to Orange County tomorrow to give my Web 2.0 & Staffing talk. In times like these it is especially important to know how to make the most of various tools that are out there.

Web 2.0 can be an overwhelming concept, and in my experience, many are talking about it, but few have described how it can actually affect the bottom line for recruiters.

That’s the point of my talk and I’m looking forward to a fun time!

The online Employment Information News Feature Online (EMInfo) just published their October issue and inside Pat Turner recaps the CSP Owners Only Retreat. Below is an excerpt that mentioned my talk about Web 2.0 & Staffing:

“Adam Peterson, CEO and cofounder of VIPE, intrigued and informed the owners about Web 2.0 and Staffing. Later in the roundtable forum, Adam’s table was packed giving evidence that understanding social networking is important in today’s recruiting and staffing environment.”

I was honored to participate in the event.
