Last Sunday, December 7th, one of Vipe’s customers plugged Vipe on My9TV – a tv station local to the tri-state region on the east coast. Adam Connors, CEO of Spire Search Partners, was interviewed by newsanchor Brenda Blackman about how job seekers can stand out in today’s economy.

Discussing many strategies, Adam included a blurb about how recruiters using Vipe were helping their candidates stand out.

Furthermore, a video introduction of Adam, powered by Vipe, was made available in a press release.

Management Action Programs Inc. (MAP) had a quarterly CEO Survey (conducted by Vantage Research) that had some intriguing results. You can view the entire write up here, but here is a compelling quote:

“This latest MAP survey shows that the number-one business practice — ‘open communication between management and employees’ — was mentioned nearly twice as frequently as ‘receiving raises,’” says Allan Hauptfeld, principal of Vantage Research & Consulting (info@vantage-research.com) of Valencia, Calif. “Clearly, a work environment where employees are recognized as part of the team is more valuable than simply receiving a paycheck.”

To all those managers out there let me repeat, “a work environment where employees are recognized as part of the team is more valuable than simply receiving a paycheck.”

Especially in tough times, it is important to recognize your staff, and for that matter, probably not a bad idea to let your customers, vendors and even your own bosses know that you appreciate them as well.

This is exactly what Vipe can help you do, and for any of you who are interested in learning more. Let me know.
